About Us
WildFree Kids OT is a pediatric Occupational Therapy practice focused on assisting children and families in building resiliency, relationships, and regulation skills. We provide personalized and holistic OT services, with a focus on nature-based, mobile, and community-based approaches. We have 104-acres of pristine Alaska wilderness for nature-based services in Wasilla.
We address complex and concerning emotional, behavioral, and sensory needs, as well as trauma, using neurodiverse affirming and evidence-based protocols and assessment tools such as:

Jillian has extensive knowledge, training and experience working with children and families in regards to complex and concerning emotional and behavioral issues. She works closely with families to create a holistic approach, not aiming to change anyone. Jillian is a mom to a child with special needs, was an educator for 10 years, taught at residential treatment centers and trained in several de-escalation strategies and uses an integrated approach to assist with helping families and children with all things resiliency, regulation and relationships.

Mobile OT is served in the home or community, libraries, restaurants, stores, etc. Nature based OT is served in natural surroundings, including parks, your yard, school playgrounds, other natural areas, etc. WildFree Kids OT has 104 acres of accessible and pristine Alaska wilderness in Wasilla for nature-based services!

Powerfully You teaches research informed self-regulation strategies through online training and curriculum. The approach values individual differences and focuses on building awareness using trauma sensitive, kid friendly activities and practices.

Jillian is the Vice Chair for Health TIE, a non-profit organization that “identifies the barriers in healthcare, catalyze improvements, champion change makers and pull their ideas forward, advance system improvements through connecting service providers and organizations with innovative entrepreneurs, and facilitate ground-level pilot projects.”

Health Care Entrepreneurs
Jillian co-hosted a “Health Care Entrepreneurs” event for Mat-Su small business owners and aspiring business owners in the health and wellness field (and adjacent industries) for an evening of lessons learned, mentorship opportunities and networking.
Motor Skills Play Fair
Hosted Ready to Write: Motor Skills Play Fair in June and September 2023 in collaboration with the Wasilla public library, with stations set up for young children to explore and practice a variety of motor skills together.
